A knowledge of self defence in the work place, at home or while traveling can significantly reduce the risk of serious assault.

Sometimes we have no choice but to defend ourselves as at times situations can arise that are impossible to defuse. We live in a world where violence can spill over into our everyday lives without invitation and when it does, many of us don’t know how to deal with it.

Self Protection Services was formed to help fill the void in the North East of England for realistic self defence tuition and to supply related services i.e. close protection and event security. Our goal is to empower individuals and employees and to show them that they do have the right and the ability to protect themselves. One of our main focuses is on how to avoid or defuse a potentially violent situation however, sometimes no matter what is said or done, an assault will take place.

We believe that nobody has the right to cause another person harm and that you do have the right to protect yourself, your work colleagues or your family. With this in mind we structured courses for different sectors of the community, targeting the most common problems in every day life, whether at work or leisure.

All of our instructors are trained to a high standard and have a wealth of knowledge in various aspects of security/safety.
